It was built in the 17th century as a women's convent. It is located near the town of Kapan, on the hill of the Vogzhi River. Includes Halidzor Castle and the ruins of the church built on its site. During the war in the 18th century, it became the military seat of Davit Bek. Davit Bek was one of the freedom-loving fighters of that century, who died in this war and was buried in the cemetery of the castle.
